I got the idea for my Lonesome Cowboy series while on an all girl's road trip from California to Salmon, Idaho.

Lucy and I are down to a routine. We write everyday together as soon as we wake up.
I say “we” because she’s with me every step of the way and is the first to hear my stories. I call her my “editor-dog.” She’s an excellent listener.

I’m currently working on my Lonesome Cowboy series. Although, like all my books, these are complete standalone romances, the series focuses on three brothers. The Beckett brothers share a fifty-acre ranch in a charming and mysterious little town called Lonesome in Montana.
Harlan, the middle brother is the star of the first book, HEARTBREAKER. Known for his break out hit, “The Heartbreak Kid,” he’s been banished from the industry thanks to a story the press got all wrong.
Georgia Monroe, the heroine of the book is in Lonesome to interview Harlan’s brother, Boone who’s also a singer.
The story begins when Harlan finds her lost on his property, peeing behind a gooseberry bush. I’ve never opened a story that way before, but poor Georgia, lost in the middle of nowhere, had been driving around in circles for hours and finally pulled over. LOL
