Sorry that I'm just now seeing this question.
It is not the same Nick from Delicate Balance. I have a pool of names I like to use for side characters, and sometimes intentionally use the same name in different series. I do introduce main characters from one series into another series on occasion, so when you notice those names, they are the same characters.

The Hunt Family Series crosses over (a tiny bit) to the Martin Family Series, so in the case of those two, I'd read the Hunts first. They are the only ones I've written so far that have any connection at all, though. Great question. Thanks for asking, and thanks for reading. Hugs!
