L.M. Krier Hello and thanks very much for the question, how kind! Good news. Not only a Book 9, which I have just started, but also a retrospective prequel to the series, which will be released in time for New Year. If you join the We Love Ted Darling group on Facebook, you can see a sneaky little extract from the prequel.
L.M. Krier Hobbiton. I'm doing the next best thing in September by travelling to Italy to go 'glamping' (glamorous camping) in a Hobbit House, complete with circular front door!
L.M. Krier Tommy and Tuppence Beresford (Agatha Christie). Love the nostalgia of the era and they work so well together.
L.M. Krier Hi and thanks for your question. It's a reference to a character in the brilliant Sidney Poitier film 'In the Heat of the Night', and its sequel, 'They Call Me Mr Tibbs'. DC Dennis Tibbs is a black officer, so he is nicknamed Virgil after the FBI character so wonderfully played by Poitier in the film. If you've not seen it, I highly recommend it!
L.M. Krier Added! Nice to hear from you, thanks for getting in touch.
L.M. Krier Hi again. I have always written. I love to write. It's more a compulsion than a motivation. Is it worth it? It depends on what you want to get out of it. It's very seldom a way to make a lot of money. I am an Indie, self-published, which is great fun to do and it gives me total control, unlike being tied in to a publishing contract.

Good luck with your own venture!
L.M. Krier Hi Sunny, thanks for the contact. My books are all available on Amazon, under the pen-name Tottie Limejuice, 4 books in the Sell the Pig series, available as e-books and paperbacks.
L.M. Krier I daren't say it, because it will be the kiss of death. But it's not something I've ever truly encountered - yet. I've written professionally for much of my life, as a journalist and copywriter, often on ridiculously tight deadlines, so it's something I've had to learn to avoid.
L.M. Krier Being given licence to have imaginary friends to talk to!
L.M. Krier It's a lot of fun but, like any profession, it's also a lot of hard work and possibly more frustrations than some other jobs which you may, from time to time, wish you'd gone for instead.
L.M. Krier I'm just editing the fourth book in the DI Ted Darling series, hopefully out early in 2016. I'm also working with an illustrator to bring out my first children's fiction which has, of course, a strong crime element. It's called The Dog with the Golden Eyes. I'm also working with a translator to bring out my travel memoir series, Sell the Pig and the 3 sequels, in French.
L.M. Krier I can't stop! I'm obsessed. I have to make myself take breaks. I love writing so much I would do it all the time.
L.M. Krier I see something in current affairs, perhaps on the news or in the papers, which start a light bulb reaction in my brain. Then I go from there.
