I want to finish the House of Night series by P.C Cast I started. And the Woman's Murder Club by James Patterson. I have several other books I have on my to read list to finish the Red Queen Series, Court Of Thorn Series, Throne of Glass Seriesand the Lunar Chronicles. My hands are full besides finishing my revision MS 'The Hybrid'

The couple are called Julien and Kiara from the book of Born of Legend' by Sherryln Kenyon. One of my favorite writers. I love the entire The League series but this book was special. That couple not only had a great sassy sense of humor but he in the earlier series had been portrayed as a bad guy. So when I read this book I was hesitant to see how I would see his side of the story. And, I must say I fell in love with him and her. He's been through hell and back. Raising a child that's not his and calling him his own. (Big brownie points for me) Refusing to cave into other people's hate and discrimination. Holding his wife's love as a beacon of hope for survival. Those are my reasons why I love this couple. Why I love this book.

I have always had a love for Greek mythology, Ares has always been my favorite God. According to the stories Ares was cruel and heart broken over a woman, which made him even more an angrier God. He only had son's no daughter's. When I came up with my main character the heroine Ari, I knew I wanted her to have some type of connection with Ares but I wasn't sure what. I wanted do mix heritage up make her into something different. In a world that was real and yet not, and it all came together smoothly on it's own.

Hmmm. what doesn't inspire me. The way my boys play fight like there ninjas give me ideas of fighting scenes, and friends and family with their lovely diverse personalities give me ideas for my characters. And the love of reading since I was a child was my biggest inspiration, it what's made me start writing into my note books short stories.

no matter how discouraging you may feel at times, or you feel like you want to give up or you may think your writing is not good enough, just remember this your not truly writing for everyone else your writing for you self because you love to write and you have a story you want to share.

I get to tell my characters stories the way they want to be told, the way I envision it. My characters are not just some names I jot down, they are a part of me.

I put on my head phones and read a book to get away from writing. Reading books while having headphones on helps clear my head as I get absorbed in someone else's wonderful tale.
