I will admit there are many fictional couples with more depth and sophistication. However, when Edward and Bella graced us with their romance, I needed them. The writing of Stephanie Meyer inspired me to pick up the pen and write Trevor and Kate's love story. (2nd Chances: A Book of Choices)

I'm not sure I have the answer for your question. I've just published my first novel and haven't experienced all the pro's and con's. I guess right now it's refreshing to put the cluttered stories in my mind on paper so I can move on to the next task.
