So far I haven't had any problems with writer's block. I seem to fall in the opposite direction of having so many things I want to write that I have to steady myself and keep to one thing at a time. Once I get going with a story and an idea I usually get through it pretty well. If I'm stuck for character traits a quick coffee at a café and people watching usually does the trick!

My work as a Marriage Celebrant put me on the path to writing 'Confetti Confidential: They Do, I Don't'. I'd also been a witness to many monumental breakups of long-term relationships of my friends and family and it was a combination of all of these things that came together to write the book.
I love my work as a celebrant, unlike Genevieve, the main character, but i'm sure if I went through all that she did, i'd be feeling a little bitter too! I'm keen to see where they take me in book 2!

I find inspiration every day in the people I talk to and even those that I don't. There is so much to enjoy about people you know and complete strangers. I find other people weird, wonderful, warm, annoying and completely hilarious sometimes. Inspiration is easy to find when we put our heads up and have a look around. It's everywhere.

I'm currently working on Confetti Confidential - Book 2 (Working Title 'Annabel's Wedding') Book 2 finds the characters 12 months on from where book 1 left them as a whole world of new dramas unfold!
