No writer is born fully formed. Don't get discouraged at the constant failure and rejection—it's just part of the process of becoming a writer and it serves to separate the wheat from the chaff. If you must write, then you will press on despite all indications to quit. Those are the successful writers you admire. Don't begin by expecting your art to pay your bills.
