This story is based on a series of stories told by my husband's great uncle to his three boys, as well as the baking talents of my husband's 100 year old great aunt.

The Christmas Spider began as a poem I wrote as a Christmas present for my children when they were very little. I always loved the story of Charlotte's Web as a child, and was inspired by the sweet, charming and hard-working spider from that story.
