InkaLill I love fantasy worlds. Hobbiton, where I would pass by Bilbo Baggins house in the hill, to look at the green door With the mark on it, made by Gandalf the grey before they went off to find the gold treasure. I would like to see the London city where the White Witch drove around in a horse-drawn wagon, with the scared professor in the back seat. And of course the shining lamp-post in the middle of the Narnian forest.
There is also the Halibut hills afar and the Castle of Ghormenghast, surely a great thing to behold, and take a rest by the lilac lake, watching crumbling cakes With flashing indigo-eyed knives in them, disappearing in the Waves.
InkaLill This is a Nice question, because I could always do With some writing advice myself. When creating Comic stories, much work goes into making maps. I use about 80 pages. On each page, notes about events and scenes.
Spread out before me I can look at the flow. Each page should have some interesting, dramatic, informative or emotional content.
There are Three Levels: the basic plot, when, where, who, what happens. The mental Level: motivation, character relationships, drama, the goal. The psychological Level: What does the characters feel, and how does that influence the plot?
When all Three Levels feels right and is working together, the drawing can begin. And often all sorts of corrections and improvements butt in then.
InkaLill Hei, tusen takk for gode ønsker! ^_^Det er stas å være selv-publiserende, jeg bestemmer selv deadlines nå. Er på bok 11 av 12 i Mirandaserien. Skal gjøre mer på forlagssiden når serien er komplett ... ;)
InkaLill Once upon a time I began to make a fantasy world. Now, 49 years later, I am working on book 11 in a Serial of 12. They are called the Miranda books, and is a growing-up story about the daughter of an outlawed wizard, and how she gets along in the Wild, weird lands of Mir. Book 11 have the working title The Battle of Emalin, and is about the war between the organization of the Fey and the guild of Sorcerors. Miranda, of course, are in the middle of everything.
