Actually, my latest short story, Due North, was extrapolated from a news story about how Canada is upset with Trump. I visualized a Canadian version of SEAL TEAM 6 planning to kidnap Trump at a Detroit rally. I wrote 80 pages of a novel and then edited it back down to a long short story. It will likely be in my next collection: More Short Stories, perhaps early in 2027. Who knows? By then it could have grown back to a novel!

I dive into rabbit holes (UFO videos on YouTube) and I kidnap the rabbit! I love swimming in conspiracy stories, but I don't drown in them.

I just finished the last chapter for The E-Team: Project Mogul. It began with a short story, but a member of my local writers group suggested I could make it into a novel. She was right! Eight months later and here it is! I expect a release around July, in time for the Florida Authors and Publisher's Association convention in Orlando/Hildon. (See you there?)

You can't expect to finish something unless you begin. The way to solve the problem of a blank page (screen) is to write something (anything) on it.

I don't really have a problem with writer's block. I start out most days with ideas that came to me at 3 am. I usually begin with research or editing something I'm working on. I get a lot of ideas from YouTube videos
