Write until you get to the end and then go back and edit. I think one of the most important trait writers need is persistence. It's easy to start a story. Finishing it is the challenge.

I go for a run and tell myself I have to keep going until I work out the scene in my head. Because i don't really like running, I usually come up with the scene pretty quickly.
