It was a sort of accident, starting with a prompt to include a line from a TV show in a poem. I had been a Buffy fan and was rewatching the show at the time. The rest of that year's national poetry month challenge, whenever I got stuck with a prompt I would include a Buffy line. And there was heartbreak. Lots of heartbreak.
