HI Helen! I do like a little Erma Bombeck - too bad she's not still with us. There's also a guy named James Lileks who does a variety of writing, most of it observations on old pop culture. He did a hilarious book on 70's home fashion called "Interior Desecrations". Also like to listen to Dennis Miller's his run-on snarky rants.

I'm currently working on the the "Survival Guide for Men" series, which will include mildly helpful guides on Home Improvement and Sports for men who really don't have time for that sort of stuff but are supposed to know it anyway.
