There's a very strong sense of accomplishment that becomes an addiction. You feel feel the anticipation as you work to conclude the book, and then when it's done, there's an amazing feeling.

For Oath Takers, it was the downward trend our nation was (and is) taking constitutionally. We are swaying far, far away from the vision of individual liberties. The Tyrant Series was written with Oath Takers in mind. It is my vision of a world where oath takers have not honored their oaths. In the end, it will be the oath taker taking the final stand against tyranny.

That's the question of the day. Like you, there's a few things in life that I take very seriously; for me, those are absolutes. In my life, in particular, the US Constitution is the absolute resource for American law; my Christianity is also an absolute. It governs my morality and keeps me from unwanted situations. Since I love astronomy, I thought, "Why not challenge myself with a sci-fi novel?" So, I went to work on a sci-fi novel based on creation. I'm not going to reveal anything more than that.

Many experienced writer's have developed their own brand and style of writing. That's why every author has a different fan base. My advice to aspiring authors is to just start writing. It's what my mentor said to me and it's what I'm passing down to them. Just write! Once you do, you will develop as a writer and find your own brand and your own style; after all *(let's face the facts) we all strive to be like that one author that impresses us the most. You will find yourself when you just write.

Writer's block is tricky. I usually step away from the book for a day or two. When I do that, it seems to clear my mind from the box mentality. Once I get to that point where I can think outside of it, I find the solution to my problem.
