Anthony W. Buirchell My deceased father-in law married a young lady in 1949and they had a daughter. He mysteriously walked out of the marriage and disappeared into the wilds of North Queensland until he turned up at a caravan park in Sydney in 1957. Why did he leave? What happened to wife and daughter? Where was he all those 8 years?
PS Have researched this but no records turn up re marriage, birth, divorce etc.

Anthony W. Buirchell I am currently writing my 3rd novel Once Thrashed Always Lie. I am also working with an illustrator to produce Picture Books with an Australian flavour but be of interest to the whole World.
Anthony W. Buirchell My book Once Thrashed Always Lie follows the life of the youngest boy, Max, from my previous book Daintree Reflections. He was being groomed by his mother for priesthood when at nine his brother made him out to be a liar and blasphemer. A scary incident involving a crocodile left the siblings at loggerheads. The father called Max a liar and thrashed him badly causing an estrangement that had far reaching consequences.
The historical fiction is based on the true story that I found while researching my partner's ancestry that I have published in The Restless Danish Immigrants: The Johnson Family.
