Have you ever read a book and thought that if you'd written it character X would have done (blank), or she would have ended up with the other guy? The best thing about being a writer is getting to decide what you want to happen. It doesn't always end up the way I plan in the beginning, but I'm satisfied with the places my characters go because I sent them there.

I write. Anything. I'll copy the back of the cereal box or write down what I ate today. Sometimes, all you need is the ink flowing from the pen. At the very least, it's a great time to write out your grocery list for the week.
