Is Loyally, Luke the last book in the Skymar series? Or are you planning on writing more books in the series?
Pepper Basham Actually, there is a Christmas novella called The Mistletoe Prince that is in a collection called Mistletoe Season. (Btw, I'd LOVE to write more in this story world. I love the characters so much)

I love the Skymar books! I just finished Positively, Penelope and am hoping to start Loyally, Luke soon. How do you give your characters so much personality?
Pepper Basham Hi! I'm so sorry I'm just now seeing this!! I ADORE that series so much!!!! Those characters feel so real to me. I guess writing them messaging each other really helped make them feel more intimate. Does that make sense?

Hi Pepper, do you think there will be any future Freddie and Gracie mysteries? I have read all of them and adored each one, and was so sad when I finished each one!
Pepper Basham Hi Emily, please forgive my late reply! I have one more coming out in July 2026. After that, I doubt we'll have any more in the NEAR future, but I'm not opposed to adding more later on.

Please say Sense and Suitability is going to be a series??? There are so many characters in that book that need a story!

Pepper Basham Darla! Thank you so much for your question and I'm sorry I'm behind in answering. YES! A sequel is slated to arrive in November 2026 (Pride & Practicality). And your compliment "I do believe Jane herself would love reading it" went STRAIGHT to my heart!!!!!

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Pepper Basham I can't decide between Middle Earth and Narnia. I want to meet the characters in both because they're such fascinating characters, especially in LOTR.

Pepper, have you seen this list of books that have "The Lady in White" on the cover? I wanted to add the audio cover of A Governess at Highland Hall, because it has the same model, but I couldn't get that cover to come up. Pepper Basham I knew there were lots of covers with that lady, but wow! Thankful that mine looks a little different with the background and coloring, but that is a lot of white hats :)
