I was eating lunch with my family at one of our favorite local cafes. They had a beautiful painting displayed of some forest animals with instruments. I made a mental note to write a story about a forest band. Weeks later, I was humming to my daughter as I rocked her to sleep, and the story started to unfold for me as a song. I had to quickly jot it down before it vanished!
