What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kathy Liu Even if you write word vomit, just put something on the page. Even if your first draft is perfect crap, you'll have something to work with. Writing gets easier the more you do it, like exercising a muscle but much more fun.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kathy Liu From a newspaper article - the subject of which has nothing to do with the book I'm writing, but there was a description of a door in the article, and that gave me the idea for my latest book.
