I've been enjoying the Tracker series and just completed the third book. How many more are you expecting to write? Any idea when the next book/audiobook will be out? Thanks!

I just wanted to say that so far I love every one of the books I have read. I got Orbs free and read the rest through the library. Didn't know you were going with a 4th book? Wow. I read both Hell Divers and Hell Divers II and waiting impatiently for book 3. I plan on reading both of your other series as soon as possible. I am an avid reader and have over 1000 books on my kindle so I am a bit busy.

I've read so many of your stories- I feel I practically live in your dystopian worlds! I just made a pre-order for Hell Divers III: Deliverance. My question is: What inspires these amazing world and creatures?
Nicholas Sansbury Smith Thanks so much! Glad you're enjoying my work. The inspiration for the creatures come from several places. Books, movies, video games, and my nightmares. The Sirens are pretty much the most terrifying thing I could think of, and the Variants are a close second. Thanks for reading!

Nicholas Sansbury Smith Hello, Unfortunately Amazon isn't publishing Kindle World stories outside of the US at this time. However, I've spoken with countless readers abroad that are able to get them in the US by changing their account settings to the US. I'm not a techie guy, but I know there's a way to do it. Nicholas Sansbury Smith Nope! I'm working to get it out a few months early. Should be in Spring of 2018. I want to make sure I don't rush it though. So far we're planning a May date. Thanks for reading!

I'm reading the second book in the Hell Divers trilogy. I'm wondering what caused the apocalypse? Were the airships manufactured by ITC used to bomb the US?
Nicholas Sansbury Smith Hi Steve, The answer to your question is explained in book 1 and more in book 2. Essentially the very airships now housing humanity were the same ones used to destroy the surface. ITC was the manufacturer, but I don't go into detail about the governments involved or what caused the war at this point.

I really loved your Extinction series! I powered through every book in probably a month. I read a ton of books in this genre and these are some of my favorites. I love the way you blended the classic zombie concept with an evolving, intelligent enemy. Now I will move on to your other books. I must ask, when is the next book out for the Extinction series? There was a bit of a cliffhanger that left me hungry for more.

Hi Nick, Just pre-ordered my copy of Aftermath and have started reading Hell Divers and I have to say "Wow!", what a page turner. However, as I am reading it I can't help but be drawn to similarities between it and your Extinction series! I mean the ruined cities, the creatures that sound very much like Variants, could this be the future world if Reed Beckham hadn't succeeded in saving us?!?! Thanks Chris

Were you bumped when the narrator (Bronson Pinchot) of Extinction Horizon kept saying U-S-A-M-R-I-I-D for USAMRIID, as opposed to You-Sah-Am-Rid? Because everytime I hear it, I roll my eyes and groan. Where was the director?
Nicholas Sansbury Smith Unfortunately I wasn't involved with the production so I didn't hear that until it was done. I hope you were still able to enjoy the story despite this hiccup.

Hi Nicholas, I have just had a book recommendation from Amazon to pre order 'Extinction Aftermath' due out in October 2016! However, I have looked on your web site and on the goodreads information but this new book is not mentioned anywhere? Please tell me this is true and we are going back to visit what is left of the world with MS Reed Beckham! Also can't wait for your new 'Hell Divers' series! Thanks Chris
