When I first started dating after a drawn-out separation and divorce, my mother told me not to give away the milk for free. Meanwhile, I'd been posting my poetry on a blog and sharing it with Twitter friends. A very close friend told me that I was giving away the milk there too. So I decided to take my blog down and publish my poetry in a book.
