My advise is to work on your manuscript every day whether you think you want to or not. Keep on hitting that keyboard. You may think of a great scene, but it is not the next scene. What should you do? Writing out of order is perfectly acceptable as long as you save it where you can find it when you need it.

Well, I was thinking about my mother and her sisters and what if they had chosen different paths during World War II. What if they had become spies or joined the military. What if some handsome Brit had come to recruit them to be spies. The I did some research and found the book Sisterhood of Spies and just fell in love with their life stories as spies.

The best thing is that I am never lonely. I always have characters to keep me company. The next best thing is writing and promoting have become an addiction and maybe someday I will make money instead of spending. Right now as a self-publishing author I am spending money on editing and formatting. Then again, royalties are higher.
