Brandon Mullan I think writing is a way of life. We all have creative ideas and original thoughts and it's up to us to document (or just remember) them and organize them. Once we make that a habit, we're automatically writers.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Brandon Mullan I've been developing Larry Chovaka for nearly 9 years. I used to make a magazine; it was a fictional lifestyle magazine around Phoenix. Kind of like fictional news but fictional lifestyle info instead. Larry was a reoccurring character in the magazine. I made 36 issues of the magazine then put all the issues into an anthology and promoted it. Larry was a standout character so it made sense to give him his own book.
