Octavia Randolph Dear Leilani - if you finished Treasure, Book Twelve, you will know that just like Book Eleven, To the Sun, the story ends with these words: "This is a never ending story. More books will follow." Some readers do not accept or believe me when I say this. I do not know what more I can do or say than these words, which are also spoken by my great narrator Nano Nagle at the end of the audio book. Please try to believe me.
Octavia Randolph I am about 70,000 words in to Book Twelve, Diane, which does not yet have a title. Expect it later this year. I have been able to release a new Saga novel every year for the past five years, and am working very hard to continue that streak!
Octavia Randolph Hello Brenda! I am writing Book Twelve now, and hope to have it in your hands late next year. As you will have noticed I have been quite good about releasing one novel a year, and as long as the Gods continue to smile I hope I can continue doing this...
Octavia Randolph The Saga Folk are always talking to me, and as I walk early in the morning through medieval Visby I carry a tiny recorder so I can speak what they tell me. When I return home I transcribe what I've recorded: it serves as an armature for a scene, or it might be snatches of dialogue, descriptions of weather or landscape... There is always some valuable information. There are certain key events I perceive years in advance (such as what occurs in Chapter the Fifteenth in For Me Fate Wove This) but often times on my walk the Saga Folk speak very directly, and unexpectedly, to me. Edwin, for instance, appeared one morning last March to tell me he was going to sail here to Gotland to face Sidroc. I think the best way I can answer your very good question is to say I trust the Saga Folk, and they trust me.
Octavia Randolph I chose "Ceridwen" for the Welsh Goddess, as "my" Ceridwen in the Saga books is half-Welsh. She deserved an ancient name associated with feminine power!
Octavia Randolph Thank you Selome. I am already 46,000 words into Book Eight, and hope to have it in your hands by next Summer. Please tell your friends here on Goodreads about the Saga; I count on my great readers to help me grow the Circle. Thank you for your devotion to the Saga folk!
Octavia Randolph Chavonne, Chavonne...of course there will be a next book! (And a next, and I next!) I am no sadist. Do you think I cloud leave Ashild, Ceric, and Hrald, our beloved young people, like that? Do you think For One Moment I could leave Sidroc like that? Or Ceridwen? Never! I am writing Book Seven now. Do you know of the Saga Discussion and Idea Group on Facebook? A great group of dedicated readers for whom I produce exclusive content...and they see and know everything first - including when Book Seven is coming. We welcome you.

Octavia Randolph Each and every Saga novel will continue to be narrated by the great Nano Nagle, "the Voice of the Saga". She has recorded all seven current books, and will, we promise, continue to do all coming books. I'm so glad you enjoy her work. Also, you may wish to visit my homepage at www.octavia.net . where I have a short video of me saying all the characters' names. This will help fix them in your mind, as well.
Octavia Randolph Thank you Linley. There shall be a total of perhaps ten Saga novels, I think, as we must follow the historical trajectory of Alfred the Great's reign, and just as importantly, the narrative arc of the lives of our our Saga folk. So expect at least three more books!
Octavia Randolph For pronunciation, please visit my website, www.octavia.net where on the home page you'll see a video of me speaking all the character's names. As far as the Next Saga book, to be released April 2018 - yes, the wonderful Audie-Award nominated London actress Nano Nagle (The Voice of the Saga!) is recording it now.
Octavia Randolph Sue Cooper I thank you! And I am very happy to tell you that the Next Saga book shall be in your hands in April. Thank you for your continuing devotion to my work. I also warmly invite you to the CoC Saga Discussion and Idea Group on Facebook; a group of dedicated and intelligent readers. I will reveal the title and cover first there! We welcome you.
Octavia Randolph Very hard for me to choose between Alice's Wonderland, or Dorothy's Oz...but I think life in the Emerald City would be glorious...!
Octavia Randolph Thank you Jane for wanting "more"! I am working very hard every day to bring you this new book. My stay on my beloved Gotland was highly productive, and if the Gods continue to smile, it will be ready for you later this year. I'm very eager to place it into your hands!
Octavia Randolph Hello Kathryn! Of course there will be more Saga novels. I would not leave our young people - or my dear readers - like that! There is a definite narrative arc to the characters' lives which must be achieved, and there will be at least three, possibly four more, Saga books to tell the full story. So do not fear, more is on the way. And thank you for such devotion to my work. Please tell your book-loving friends about the Saga; I count on my great readers to help grow the Circle.
Octavia Randolph I'm preparing to write about the new character Tindr from The Hall of Tyr, Book Four in the Circle of Ceridwen Saga. He's a young man who is an expert hunter, thoughtful (in the precise sense of the word: he thinks a lot), kind, and handsome. And he is also deaf. I am deeply intrigued with him; in fact, he is haunting me. He is deeply devoted to the Goddess Freyja, and I feel compelled to enlarge upon his story. I don't know yet if it will be a novella, a full novel...an opera...What? Did I say opera? I got carried away for a moment. I do often hear music (inside my head) when I write.
