The idea from my recent book came from wanting to develop a series of books to give children something to relate to.I have small children so we take reading in my household very seriously. Often, I would find books that were unrelatable or no interest to them, so I wanted to create something that would hold their attention as well as something they would enjoy. Incorporating value's and relatable verbage in my book was very important!The characters in my book are based off of real life individuals who has played a vital role in my life!

My advice for aspiring writers would be, stay tru to your dreams. Never allow anyone to put limits on what you can do. Oberserve, watch, listen to as many things to trigger your creativity! Breathe, write freely, and enjoy!

Being a writer allows me to be ME.I don't have to alter anthing that I create, or dummy anything down. I'm able to go beyond my imagination and create things from my prespective. Sharing my thoughts, ideas, character, as well perceptions with the world without any limitations. Being a writer introduces a side of me that others never knew existed!
