That is an interesting question. The biggest mystery of my life so far is, how the heck did I get to be so old, so quickly? Since that would be the world's most boring storyline, I decided to write about mysteries that I come across in other people's lives instead.
Other people are so much more interesting, don't you think?

So, I guess the mysteries in my life that provide good plots, are the people I meet.

When something fascinates me, I tend to think that it will be interesting for others too. Writing lets me share that with others.

When I was working on my Bachelor's degree in Forensics, I heard many fascinating stories from people that worked in the field and I wanted to write about them. The idea for Blood and Bone originated there.
