Taking a hiatus to promote the 2nd edition of my book, but I have 2 other projects started: 1). a business novel about the PATH process to manage any project, process or product, which I developed and describe in my recent book; 2). A text/non-fiction book describing how to implement the PATH process in a quality-managed environment—working title "Designing your PATH to Quality."

In non-fiction, write what you know about. My books are built around "Tales from the trenches"—a device originally suggested by Kathrin Lake. Tales illustrating concepts are a great approach.

As a non-fiction writer about a subject (construction administration) that I have been immersed in and taught for 25 years, it's a great way of "giving back." It's especially nice when I hear a young student say "...and I got a book!"
