I'm so glad to hear it! The story will take place over three books, so it'll be a trilogy. There will also be a companion novella from the perspective of Dr. Richter.

Multiple factors contributed to the idea of Ultraxenopia but a lot of it is inspired from real events in history such as Nazi Germany and the chemical warfare research conducted by the Japanese during World War II. I also read the book 1984 when I was in high school and the idea of a Big Brother type society was what initially triggered the concept in my mind.

I cannot stress enough the influence music has on my writing. I like to create soundtracks to my books where each chapter has a song that pertains to it. Finding the perfect song which matches the mood of what I'm trying to put to paper is all I need to spark inspiration.

The moment you see a reader's positive reaction to your work. Knowing that something you created has resonated with someone else and that they've loved it as much as you loved writing it.

Never let anyone tell you you aren't good enough. If you're anything like me then you write because you need to—because it would kill you not to. Put that passion into your writing and just do what makes you happy. With the Internet the way it is today, there are options beyond traditional publishing anyway so there are always ways to share your work. Never let anyone make you think you weren't born to write.

I'm currently working on the first sequel to my newly released dystopian novel, Ultraxenopia.

I usually stop trying to write that day. If the ideas aren't coming, you'll only stress yourself out more by trying to force it. I'll revisit what I was working on the following day or take a nice long walk to clear my head. If all else fails, music that has the "feel" of the story will usually help to get the ideas flowing.
