T. Stedman I read all the time and my to read list is great, but the ones at the top of my list to read next are Ally Carter's Gallagher Girl Series.
T. Stedman It is weird the way a lot of what i write comes true in some weird and wonderful way!
T. Stedman I know it's jammy to say it, but i can honestly say i haven't had it – 'touch wood'.
With 21st Century Sirens, i carried 6 books around in my head before i ever wrote a word. It got so bad that i wrote book 5 first and it sits in first draft to this day. Then i wrote one, two and three, mostly 'seat of my pants.' I simply don't have enough hours in the day to write them. Then Diablo came so strong i had to take a breather to write that. I carry two standalone's around as well. I'm a bit weird like that. So my answer to that would be, it wasn't a strong enough idea to complete the book, and so i would begin the next project and shelve the idea.
T. Stedman There are loads of things i love about it, but the foremost are, that you get to create worlds where you get to play god. Where if you want everyone to be beautiful or rich, you can. It's your story. But i don't think you can beat the feeling when a complete stranger expresses appreciation for your work. Or that something you created brings happiness to someone else, or takes them away from this world for a little while.
T. Stedman Write every day. And when you're not writing, read. Do it because you love it even if it doesn't make you a penny. Write what comes naturally to you, in the manner your prefer and in the genre you love to read. Then you will be surprised what happens all by itself.
T. Stedman A Standalone called, Diablo, and i love it. The gorgeous male is Dylan. And he has a dark side; a secret life, that Grace, starts to unravel with terrifying consequences. Just who is Dylan O'Shea?
T. Stedman A male character comes to me. He is gorgeous and i fall in love with him. Then a story just unravels around him. His characteristics and personality tell me who he is. Then the female protagonist just comes naturally. It is always so strong it won't go away. If i forget it, it was never going to make it to the end of a book.
T. Stedman It's always an ideal fantasy, or daydream. Like a world i'd want to escape to.
With 21st Century Sirens, it was Marco Dubonnetti who came first, but he was vain and shallow. Then came his elder brother Dante, dark and mysterious. Coupled with his best friend, Jay, and it was an idea that stayed. The rest his history.
