Write! That's what writers do––we write. The hard part is putting yourself out there when you invite others to read what you write. Remember, their feedback is just ONE opinion. Everyone has opinions.

Creating! Writing allows me to take a common problem, issue or change event and create a world around it. That way readers can examine how a character handles the issue. It opens their own path of possibilities.

I go for a walk––the bigger the block––the longer the walk. Fresh air, birds singing, the scent of flowers all inspire me. My bottom line is that I never force my writing. When it isn't coming, I go do something else.
