I must apologize for the tardy response. My excuse is pretty good: my house burned down on April 10 and I have been pretty busy dealing with that.
So, first, thank you for your kind words. Every author likes praise. I have plans to write more Rebecca stories. I have been waiting to see if this book would be successful before I put much more time into the series.

Take a walk, cut firewood, split firewood--In other words I put the writing down and do something completely different. Or, sometimes I meditate just to clear the mind. Actually, I meditate a couple of times daily anyway but sometimes it helps to throw in an extra session.

I once heard a writer say that he doesn't like writing, he likes having written. I have to say there is nothing like getting that first proof copy and holding it in your hands for the first time. It is very satisfying knowing that you created this thing in your hands. Also, in my case I have gotten feedback from readers that they found my books helpful in some way. That is very satisfying also.
