I didn't have a choice. I am a natural teacher and I didn't even realize I had the material for a book. It comes naturally because I am a teacher and a counselor and my clients and students were the ones asking for the material that I would speak about and so I just started writing it down for them - little words of wisdom for living a better life - etherealwellness.wordpress.com. My first book, "Life Lessons, Everything You Ever Wished You Had Learned in Kindergarten" was an amalgamation of some of my inspirational essays + stories about my own personal life lessons.

Don't doubt yourself - your creativity or your ability to express yourself - JUST DO IT. If you feel the impulse it is because it is within you and needs to be expressed and you are the only one who can do it. No one sees things like you do and no one feels things like you do - you have a responsibility to get it out there in your words. And lastly, NEVER COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS. You will never win. Your writing is a reflection of YOU, why would you want it to be similar to someone else?

You can express yourself every single day - every which way you want to. When you have something to say to someone about something - it is healing to get it out through your writing. My life's experience are channeled into my inspirational blog - www.etherealwellness.wordpress.com. When I learn something in my own personal life or teach something to a client that I think is important for others to learn from it, I write it that week as a post and everyone can benefit from the wisdom.

I stop what I am doing immediately. You cannot force inspiration. I go and take a yoga class or I do something that makes me happy or I go and treat myself to a piece of vegan chocolate or a cupcakes. When I don't force myself to think, my thoughts are free to roam and that is when inspiration takes over. Creativity has to have room to breathe. We cannot control it. Always give yourself space for the creativity to flow.
