I've always heard, "Write what you know!" But you know what, I'd rather right what I imagine. I think authors should do the same. Why write the world you know about (unless you really want to) when you can imagine a better world or perhaps a more terrifying world?
I would advise writers to write every day, to reread what you've written, learn what you're good at and where you need more work. Never give up on your dream, even if one person reads your story, then you've shared your world with them.

I was inspired to write erotica, because I read a "how to" book by Dahlia Daudelin. I thought, I can do that, and I love reading sex scenes in books. I get turned on by things that probably will never happen in my real life, so it's fun to write them down. I hope my readers can imagine them with me.

I like tentacles and I like lesbian romance. Both are taboo and highly erotic to me. I had already written, "His Tentacle Secret" and I really wanted to write about a woman who also had a "tentacle secret."
