Suzette Webb Hi there - Great question! I actually have two. The 1st one is the one my grandmother gave me as a teen:

"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1)

My 2nd one came to me after going through a rough period, and going through a little therapy where I had to revisit the past. I felt stuck and just wanted this particular season to end.

Here's what I miraculously flipped to in the Bible during that time:

"Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, "My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Cor. 12:8-10 NLT)
Suzette Webb Hi there - I have a title for my 3rd book and a rough outline. However, writing Blues to Blessings took me 5 years, so my recent focus has been to spread the word about this project. Really trust that you will enjoy the read. Cheers!
Suzette Webb Blues to Blessings: from Fearful to Faithful is my spiritual memoir, so I always knew that I would pen my own story. At the time, I just didn't realize I would be at peace with telling my story in such raw detail.
Suzette Webb When I slate a day for writing, I start that day very early - usually around 4:30 a.m. It is the stillness of the morning that helps to stir my thoughts. By mid-morning, my thoughts are percolating just as much as the coffee machine.
Suzette Webb Freedom of expression. I especially enjoy writing about those topics that many people think about, but fewer people talk about.
Suzette Webb My latest book - Blues to Blessings: from Fearful to Faithful has taken me five years to write, so my primary focus is to spread the word about this book. While I've chose the title for my next book, I have not begun to work on it as of yet.
Suzette Webb Stick with it! Focus on progress and not perfection. Some of my best work has been born out of times when I had no idea what the words would like on the page, but I showed up anyway.
Suzette Webb It is the oddest thing, but sometimes when I have no time to write the thoughts pour out of me, and when I have all the time in the world to write, I get stuck. Some of my best chapters were written during writer's block. I chose to show up regardless of being stuck. It was in that creative moment where I would often experience a powerful breakthrough. More than half the job is showing up; the other part is trusting that it will come!
