People who write know what books made them so. It not because you could earn a living but the belief of representing those before you. Consider any author that made you put that ink on paper. It doesn't have to be a fictional writer for it could be a Gospel one eg) St Luke.

Presently, this is my first novel and the only way I've discovered to overcome this was as follows: reward myself a deluxe dessert only after overcoming it. Somehow, that worked!
