I am currently working on continuing the series of which I have just published the first volume. I actually have two manuscripts that are reasonably complete, and two others which are approximately one-third and one-fifth of the length I'd like them to be. I am envisioning a total of ten novels in the series, breaking down into a trilogy beginning with the current volume, a further trilogy set approximately fifteen to twenty years later, and four books comprising a prequel some seven centuries earlier. The latter four are in the earliest stages of planning, a mere notion at this point.

Not well, apparently, given the approximately twenty-year hiatus in my writing efforts. However, lately when I have found the main progress of a novel at a standstill, I work on creating numerous short story arcs, many just a couple of paragraphs, but some along the lines of trying out a possible story line before committing to it, and possibly skipping ahead in the narrative, then writing the intervening connecting story line later.
