An error occurred while sorting questions for author Kat Stiles.
Is the main character of modified gay, straight, or bi? I'm guessing the first but it's not completely clear.
Kat Stiles Sorry I just saw this question! I guess if we had to label her, Kate's technically bi, leaning more towards hetero, which becomes clearer as the series progresses.

Not to be pushy, but I bought and read all 3 modified books and I'm waiting with baited breath for the next installment. I just wanted to know when I could pre-order the 4th book?
Kat Stiles Thank you so much for your kind words, you made my day! Volume 4 should be out in January, February the latest. It's usually up to the illustrator, but his covers are well worth the wait :)

I loved Connected, and wondered if you had any idea when book 2 would be available?
Kat Stiles Thank you very much! Yes I plan to publish book 2 this year, hopefully in the first half of 2017. I'm very excited, I can't wait to share it with all my readers. Book 2 marks the return of Em's father and it includes more of Lauren and Demetri. I have so much fun writing those two characters. :)

Is your character, Em from Connected based on anyone in reality?
Kat Stiles Yes, she's loosely based on me. I had a bunch of insecurities as a teenager that took some time to work through. Plus she has a good heart. :)
