My favorite fictional couple is Noah and Allie Calhoun from The Notebook. Their love never died after being separated for so many years and I am lucky to have experienced a love like theirs. The movie version truly brought the love they felt to life and was exciting to see on screen.

My advice for inspiring writers is to simply do it. Don’t make the excuses and don’t listen to negative people. The world is filled with them and no one knows everything. Go for what you want.

The best thing about being a writer is the freedom. I have worked so many jobs that did not fit my personality or allow me to be me and I felt like I was dying inside. With writing I can be who I was born to be or live through whatever characters I create.

My mind races all day with ideas and scenarios, so whenever I find myself stumbling over words I go to sleep. If I am lucky enough to drift off and dream of nothing then I look at it as much needed rest. If I dream of something and remember it, then I probably solved my problem or came up with a new project to work on.
