Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Meghan Hug I got the idea for Artemesia: The Lost Kingdom awhile ago. I had fallen in love with Beauty and the Beast and, I don't know, it all just came to me in a way.

How do you get inspired to write?
Meghan Hug A lot of the time I listen to instrumental/soundtrack music and it helps me. Other times, I see beauty in nature around me and that inspires me.

Meghan Hug I am currently working on the sequel to Artemesia: The Lost Kingdom. ;)

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Meghan Hug The best thing about being a writer is having the ability to make your own world, your own people, really just anything you want.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Meghan Hug I free write! It really helps to un-clog my creativity. :)
