When I experience writer's block, I just take a few days off from writing. I'm just beginning this journey so deadlines aren't really a big thing for me yet. I work at my own pace, if it flows, great. If it doesn't, oh well. Usually when I suffer from writer's block, I read or listen to a lot of music. Looking for cover models can be inspiring too ;)

The best thing about being a writer is that I can escape reality whenever I want to. It's my form of therapy. When I'm happy, I write. When I'm angry, I write. When I'm sad, I write. Every emotion I feel can be found in my books.
The second best thing is the friends I have found through this. There are actually people who are genuinely interested in my book. Can you believe that??

Never give up! Don't let any negativity bring you down.
Make sure you have a good editor, a great support team and believe in yourself. I never thought I would find so much support on this journey. The friendships I have built through this still blow me away.

I am currently working on the second book in my Military Love Series. It's called "Uncovering Peace" and will be the story of two side characters from the first installment "Rediscovering Peace"

Music is my biggest inspiration. I always have music playing when I write. Some scenes are completely written around a song.

I have always loved writing and reading. I used to write a lot of poetry when I was younger. My most recent book has parts of me in it. A few things that I went through made me realize they would make for a good book. So I started writing. I never imagined I would actually publish!
