I am currently working on a novel about a woman who lives alone in the wilderness, 6 miles form her closest neighbor. An illegal migrant worker shows up on her land and she debates whether to let him stay in exchange for room and board. They do not speak the same language, but need forces them both to take chances and develop trust.
