Catching the Light was birthed out of a ten year process, after having come through some very difficult times. My healing journey is the heart of this devotional. I wanted to combine each devotion with poetry to slow down the times of reflection. Not a daily reading as such, but rather a themed reading, as each one can be meditated over for as long as desired.

I take the advice of Julia Cameron and take myself on an artist's date. Do anything I love to do which helps to get into a creative flow. I can start with an inkling of inspiration and then just start writing and see what comes. It also helps to journal.
