I am beginning work on a novel about political rivals who learn to work together and compromise. I have only one chapter written but hope to finish before the 2024 campaigns. One thing I am adamant about in this book is not talking sides in their journey.

I had written for professional publications for many years but I began writing for fun after I retired. I wish I could say "Oh, I was born to write" but I was not. My writing began when I had time to pursue a new outlet and since words had always been my stock and trade, as a teacher and as a counselor, it seemed a natural new creative outlet.
