Angelique S. Anderson During moments of writers block, I force myself to write anyway. I push through, even if I know what I am writing is crap. Ultimately if I write long enough, and push long enough, I find that I reach that place where the story is ultimately writing itself. It is just a matter of pushing myself. Sometimes during the moments of writers block, when I have gone back to read what was written, its been better than the work I have done when I am not having writers block.
Angelique S. Anderson Knowing I am a writer is the most beautiful absolute thing about me. I no longer question who I am, what is my purpose, what am I supposed to do. I am a writer. All my quirks, crazies and emotional rollercoasters are just apart of the make up of who I am. A writer, a mess, unequivocally, but a writer non the less.
Angelique S. Anderson The more you write, the better you will get, the more you read, the better you will get. Do both, and do them often. Don't quit. No matter what anyone tells you, no matter what obstacles you come across, do not quit. Do not let anything or anyone stop you from being a writer. This is especially true of life. Life will do everything it can to stop you.... dont let it! Keep going!
Angelique S. Anderson Finishing the 3rd book in my first series, I am very excited about the publishing of book 2 in October. I hope to start the publishing of this one shortly after. Once the series is finished I have a sci-fi dystopian fiction that I am so excited to write, I can't even talk about it!
Angelique S. Anderson I used to write songs, poems, short stories etc... It has been one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a young girl. Over time I have had many interests, but writing is the one thing that has always stuck.
Angelique S. Anderson Growing up, The Lion, the witch and the warddrobe was my absolute favorite book. As I got older, I fell in love with that whole young adult fantasy fiction genre. I still believe animals can talk, and fairytales are my favorite. Twilight was another series I loved as I got older, but only because I have always enjoyed the half-animal, half-human concept. Combine all that, and I knew there was a book waiting... a book I wanted to read that hadn't been written yet. So I wrote it!
