If you are talking about The Burning Man, I know there was an issue in the editing at chapter 40! Something got dropped or missed. The problem does not reoccur in FIRESTORM. SLAYER will be coming out soon. Watch for it.

Yes but I have a day job. I can answer questions during lunch and after work. Is that ok?

Yes, A great learning experience. Being new to Goodreads and all this author stuff is a bit overwhelming. I hope I am getting the hang of it.

Thanks Ron. If you can move my post I would really appreciate it. I am new to Goodreads and am still learning about all the nooks and crannies were people can post things. I did not mean to step on anyone's toes.

I just let it happen. Sometimes it does and there is no forcing it. I try to do exercise or take a walk and not think about it. It doesn't happen to me very often.

I always know my beginning and end when I write. I find joy in the middle when I let the characters speak to me. Sometimes to put myself in a scene, I close my eyes and run through my senses. What would this character be feeling, seeing, touching, hearing, tasting, smelling at this time? What would his or her reactions be? What is the air temp? What are they feeling inside? These, more than anything, really help write a character in the moment.

My advice is just do it. And don't listen to all the critics. Take advice you feel works for you. It is easy to never put anything out there for fear of it being rejected. But failure is a good thing. The novel The Burning Man is actually my third novel penned. So technically I failed at 2 before. Just keep writing.

I am working on the fourth book in the Dr. Catherine Power series. It is called time bomb and involves rogue middle eastern residents of New York who decide to start bombings all across the US. I was inspired by the Boston bombings and the recent attacks in Paris.

I started writing may years ago to deal with the illness and loss of my first husband who had a serious heart condition and died unexpectedly at the age of 40. I was a widow at 37 after 15 years together. I am also a lawyer and write boring stuff during the day so creative writing really taps the other side of my brain.

I am a big fan of thrillers like Silence of the Lambs. The one thing that bothered me is that the author never explained why our good doctor was as twisted as he was. we never went inside his head. Only saw his actions and heard him speak. So my novel does that. It takes you inside the head of a serial killer who hides in plain sight.
