I take a step away from the computer, make myself a coffee, work through all non-writing related jobs (networking etc) and then go back to it when I feel inspiration hit again.

I can immerse myself in my own little world and only have to clamber back out into real life at the end of the day!

Never give up, keep on writing and try to learn from your mistakes. Critique is a good thing, it can hurt, but you have to learn from it.
Also, understand that you can't please everyone, and aways keep that in mind. If you like what you've written and you had fun writing it, then you're winning. :)

I usually listen to some good music, I find that helps my muse to flow.

I have always been fascinated by werewolves and the human mind, particularly personality disorders such as psychopathy. I wanted to combine those two elements with a view to writing something slightly different from your average 'werewolf attacks victim, victim is infected ... etc' type novel.
