I'm currently working on a series of adult fairy tales. "Snow White and the Eighth Dwarf" is in the editing stage, and "Red Riding Hood" (I need a better title) is almost finished. It was my 2016 NaNo project. There will be five in the series—"Cinderella", and "Rumplestiltskin", and either "Goldilocks" or "Sleeping Beauty". I love taking a classic, turning it around and adding a little sizzle.
In 2017, I have plans to continue my Alien short stories and write a WWII thriller, something outside of my usual genre. It's been brewing for a couple of years, and it's time to bring it to life. The love story between the two main characters transcends time. That's all I can say.
Ideas appear every day, it's a matter of prioritizing them and committing to the writing. There's nothing as energizing as finding the zone and making my characters come to life.

I love creating new worlds. Paranormal, fantasy, and sci-fi give me the freedom to blow away preconceived perceptions and make up rules to fit the story.

Thank you for your appreciation of "Elf." It was so much fun to write, but I'm afraid I'm done with the world of Lowth. It was published over ten years ago, and I've moved on to witches, fairy godmothers and vampires.
