Absolutely. I carry a little book with me that I write ideas in for new books all the time. I have also completed a science fiction manuscript that I have set aside. Although this sci-fy manuscript is complete, I am not 100% happy with the story and may have to rewrite it. I am currently preparing to begin a new manuscript this month.

I knew a man from my home town who served with the Army in the Middle East. One day I was driving home and there was a giant billboard on the side of the highway that read "welcome home, we are proud that you served so bravely." I knew him well and I knew he was not settling in to civilian life very well. The idea for THE BOMBER grew from there.
