Every story I have ever written begins as a daydream. I daydream when swimming laps in a 25 m pool, when cycling to work, when lying in bed about to go to sleep, when walking through the park. Ever since I was a little boy have I chosen to dwell in the world of fantasy that surges up onto the pages of my stories in odd and unexpected ways.

My current novel, provisionally entitled 'The Fortune Teller', is another political thriller. It takes place in post 9/11 America and explores the confused, horrifying world of civil right violations from the perspective of an Irish illegal immigrant to the United States, and the corporate lawyer turned civil rights activist who defends him.
