Oh great question! There are many things in my life that could be plots for books! I used to live on a street that was nothing but shadows of mystery. I lived on the side of a butte that I could fill books with different sinarios of mysteries. I nannied, which could have its own brand of mystery. I traveled to New York City for a live concert in the park after dark. Those two previous sentences could be a number of mystery books. That’s just to name a few.

That's a great question! I had to think about it because I've read so many. I had to go back and look at what I've read. I narrowed it down to a few and reasons for each.
Top 4:
3-Buxton Peak series by Julie spencer: Why? Because I love music and following a band across oceans would be interesting.
2- The Cure series by Teyla Branton: Why? Why not I would have a power. Which power? Good question I'm not sure I like the main characters powers I would have hers. I guess they are not really powers but you get the idea. It is fascinating and unique book and I would love to see it in a movie.
2- Kissing Cousins by Marcia Lynn McClure: Don't let the title throw you it's a clever twist on your mind. I love the story, the atmosphere. I just want to be in this book to sing along and maybe get my own glance at Taggert. Don't you just love that name? I read this one at least once a year, I love it.
1- Deep Blue series by Jennifer Donnelly: This consists of Deep Blue, Rogue Wave, Dark Tide, and Seaspell. Now I'm not usually an underwater kind of gal BUT in a fictional world I would totally go here. Have a mermaid fin travel with these fascinating creatures. It is so imaginative you just see yourself there.
Now as an author I have to add Within Qwestar it's fascinated me since I was young to travel to another world and discover I was a ruler. I've been working on the sequel where her kids end up going back to earth and find out they are considered aliens. It's really funny and I would try out this world of Fiction.
Thank you so much for asking. I really enjoyed researching this question out.

I have not received emails, sorry. I have re-read through the pamphlet to make sure I'm doing it right. I will check the questions/problems again. I will be buying the one ebook so I don't have to wait for the hard cover. I'm about ready to just do my own and not worry about posting so others can win stuff. That way I don't mess it up.

Grace that is an absolute perfect question! A question filled with depth and yet light on the surface. Straight out a little of both. I know that doesn't help. However, I believe in constantly learning, and so because I'm an author not a millionaire (yet) I found www.creative-writing-now.com. They have three free lessons. Just from these lessons I built 10 starts for books. The book See me for me started out as one of these starts, but it needed conflict and I had nothing. Until I picked up my daughter from ballet and heard a mothers name. Then the whole thing click into place. The actual characters themselves, well for me they write themselves. Sometimes I'll type something they say and stop. I have a conversation with the character if the dialogue was me or the character. If I have to stop and think about it, the dialogue was me. I had one scene which I really enjoyed, then my edited pointed out facts that it really wasn't in his character to do the action. I enjoyed the action and wanted that hit, but it really was not in the characters character, it that makes any sense.
I have another book I'm working on currently, and again had one character mapped out and figured out, but the other half was missing. I made a call about something and the ladies name was Leola. It hit me with a ton of bricks the character needed for the book. It was funny as I talked to her I saw this woman who well she's a ninja warrior master and well the rest is in the book. SO, to answer it goes both ways for me.
I hope that helped. Let me know if you have any other question. I love being asked questions.

I just had a little bit of a slow brain this morning actually. I could not figure out what to do next. So I stopped and did a little research. after three pages of research the next part slipped into view and I finished writing the chapter I was on and started the next.
Writers block I suggest stopping and doing something else for a short or long period. Work on another story, research, take a walk, and breathe. It will come

Oh man! WRITE! Do not think your story is good enough, do not think someone else writes better. IT DOES NOT MATTER! If you want to write, grab a pen, paper and let it flow. Just do it. Set a specific attainable goal such as 500 words a day. If you go over, yeah. The point is you need to exercise the creative part of your brain and just write. Good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. WRITE!

This is a very broad question. I have been inspired by a simple name. Places, and things. I had a story line but it needed something else and I could not figure out what it was. I was picking up my daughter from ballet an heard one of the mom's name said and from that one name and the place I was at the complimenting story line fell into place.

Good question. The question though is the one recently published or the one I'm currently working on. If it's the most recent published, "Out of the Mists of Darkness." The idea came from inspiration that I needed to get this book out to help others in similar situations. It needed to be uplifting and a grasp on the light that so many in that situation need.
